The speaker Rodrigo Lofrano, Coordinator of the Bolsa Família Program’s Conditionalities (Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger / Brazil) and the commentator Kathy Lindert, Global Lead Economist for Social Protection and Labor at the World Bank have explained how tools can be useful for intersectoral coordination in conditional cash transfer programs, such as the Bolsa Família Program.

Speaker: Rodrigo Lofrano, Coordinator of the Bolsa Familia Program’s Conditionalities, of the National Secretariat for Citizenship Income, of the Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger (MDS/Brazil). He is a member of the career of Specialist in Public Policies and Governmental Management (EPPGG), with a master in Business Administration from the Brazilian School of Public and Business Management of the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EBAPE/FGV).

Commentator: Kathy Lindert – World Bank Group’s Global Lead for Social Protection and Labor, she has worked in the WB for 22 years in Latin America, Europe & Central Asia, and the Middle East & North Africa. Kathy spent five years working at the WB’s Office in Brazil, where she managed the partnership with the Bolsa Familia Program. She has a PhD and MA in Economics from the University of California at Davis (USA), and a BA in International Economics from the American University of Paris (France).
