Non-compliance with the Bolsa Família Program conditionalities PT EN ES FR
Children and adolescents with low school attendance and with their vaccination schedules out of date, as well as pregnant women who have failed to undertake antenatal check-ups, signal to the authorities that these beneficiaries are having difficulties in accessing the health and education services. They fail to comply with Bolsa Familia’s commitments in the areas of health and education. This text describes how non-compliance with the conditionalities is currently dealt with by the Program and outlines the consequences for the cash transfers to these families: warning, blocking, suspension and cancellation.

Results and impacts of the Bolsa Família Program education conditionalities PT EN ES FR
The document shows the results and impacts of the education conditionalities of the Bolsa Família Program in recent years. Evidence suggests that the Program leads to reduced grade repetition of beneficiary students. They also have higher pass rates in the final years of primary education as well as at the high school level. The results suggest that a change has occurred in the course of these students’ school careers, thus signaling a consequent reduction of educational inequality in Brazil.

3 Years Results Brochure: Brazil without Extreme Poverty Plan PT EN ES
Twenty two million people have overcome extreme poverty from income perspective since the Brazil Without Extreme Poverty Plan (Plano Brasil Sem Miséria, BSM) was launched on June 2011. The main results achieved in the last three years of the Plan are presented in this publication. The BSM’s goal was to raise income and welfare conditions of extremely poor people through a set of actions that include cash transfer, access to public services (education, health, welfare, sanitation and electricity), and productive inclusion. For this, new programs have been created and already existing initiatives were expanded in partnership with states, municipalities, public and private companies and civil society organizations.
