Program managers in Mexico and Brazil shared the lessons they have learned in creating and institutionalizing social policy Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems on the webinar Design and Implementation of M&E systems: The cases of Brazil and Mexico. Among the topics, panelists Thania de la Garza, from Mexico’s National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy, and Vítor Azevedo Pereira, from Brazil’s Ministry of Social and Agrarian Development, discussed the particulars of the institutional organization, objectives, and challenges involved in each country’s systems.

The webinar marked the fourth in the online series “The Brazilian Experience on Social Protection Programs”, led by a partnership between the Brazil Learning Initiative for a World without Poverty and the platform socialprotection.org.
