Brasília, September 8, 2015 – At the same time which will present the Brazilian strategy of development with social inclusion, the seminar Urban Poverty and Development in Brazil: the periphery at the center of the post-2015 agenda will discuss the new needs of the fight against poverty, especially in urban territories, drawing on the experiences of civil society.
The event will be followed by the launching ceremony of the Central Union of Favelas (Cufa) Global Network, an organization that seeks to value the identity in Brazilian favelas, through the empowerment of black people and promoting opportunities for the residents of these communities.
