In 2015, while the Bolsa Família Program completed more than one decade of implementation in Brazil, the Republic of the Congo developed for the first time a pilot conditional cash transfer program: the Lisungi.
To promote the exchange of knowledge between Brazil and Congo, the WWP interviewed Anasthasie Ossangatsama, Head of Social Transfers of the Ministry of Social Affairs Humanitarian Action and Solidarity of the Congo, who asked about the functioning of the intersectoral coordination of health and education conditionalities of the Brazilian program.
