The first WWP webinar in English – Unified Registry for Social Programs: The Brazilian Experience -, was held on April 29, 2015. Joana Mostafa, Director of the Unified Registry of Brazil’s Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger, and Margaret Grosh, Acting Practice Manager for Latin American and the Caribbean Social Protection and Labor at the World Bank, have explained what Cadastro Único is all about, how data is collected, what stakeholders are involved in the process, and have also discussed alternatives for knowledge exchange in the implementation of single registries.
